The pre-launch ad (featured first) informed prospects that the car was on its way to Australia from Germany, while also alluding to its high status appeal, hence our clever headline – Status Update. Our target for this car were career-orientated professionals with a high status orientation. The launch ad (featured second) talked up the car’s power and performance strengths as we knew those aspects had a particular appeal to this market.
